Yay iPhone
I am writing this on my iPhone.
I was lucky enough to get one yesterday. I am just trying out the wordpress app. So far I am impressed with both.

I always feel bad for people who get their bikes stolen, although it’s usually because they don’t use good locks.
That said, I just got a killer deal on a bike at a police auction in Coquitlam BC where they liquidate all the unclaimed seized bikes.
Long and short of it. I bought a 2002 or 2003 (not sure yet what year it is) Trek Fuel 100 full suspension mountain bike for $250 + 15% buyers premium plus taxes for a total of around $300. MSRP on that bike when it was released was around $4200.00 to $4750.00!
Pictures are here
Edit: The front rim is not the original, and both tires are completely flat and don’t hold any air. But as soon as the bike shop down the road is open again after the holidays I will have that fixed.
I have been waiting since last August to get a new car and now I finally have it!
I used the insurance money from my Sunfire (shown beaten and bruised below) to put a down payment on a newer car:
A 2003 Hyundai Tiburon Tuscani. This car is practically fully loaded:
Power windows, door locks, sunroof, and hatch release. Air conditioning, climate control, trip computer, and factory fog lights.
Engine: 2.7L V6. Currently I have removed all the plastic beauty parts from under the hood so I can clean the engine bay and the beauty parts them selves as the engine bay does not look like it has been cleaned in a while.
Trans: stock 6spd manual w/ stock clutch
HP: no clue, but factory spec is around 170 whp
Mods: Generic CAI w/ K&N Filter.
Suspension: Stock
Rims/Tires: Stock rims, not sure about the tires I haven’t looked, but they are nothing spectacular.
Kms: 154,00 (90% of which is highway)
Picture: Will post one when I have washed it; currently it has bugs in it’s teeth.
When I first got my laptop a little over a year ago, it came without bluetooth, shortly after receiving my laptop I purchased an internal bluetooth module for my Dell Latitude D610. I spent some time since trying to find the perfect bluetooth mouse to accompany it. I looked at several, from Kensington to Mogo. All the while waiting for either Microsoft or Logitech to produce a bluetooth notebook mouse. They both had desktop mice on the market, neither of which suited my needs. Then I found the Logitech V270.
Well, they did it, they gave me a card…..
Update one week later
I have since returned the mini and purchased a Nano. I am much happier with that choice.
So here’s the deal, I have sold one of my PC’s. Ever since I got my laptop I have ceased using my Athlon; so I sold it. I lost money on it, but thats ok, if had waited I would have lost more.
Now for all you that are reading this and asking “Why didnt you buy XYZ?!” here are my reasons:
1) This was the only thing in my price range that would have allowed me to also purchase an iTrip, and since my head unit in my car does not have an aux input this was a good choice.
2) I wanted a Black 4GB nano, but I wanted a ~4GB mp3 player more, and I wanted it *NOW* not in 2 weeks. I didn’t care which I bought. I almost bought an iRiver 5GB (they are really nice!) but it was way out of my price range.
3) I know the mini does not have a color screen, but I thought hard about why I really need a color screen, and I dont. I want it for music, and thats it. I really like the iPod interface, and I really like the brushed alluminum.
So there you have it.
Good bye Anonuke, Hello iPod.
